Facts About the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP)
This plan assists you in meeting your financial obligation to the school should you withdraw a student for any reason. Participation is required for all who do not pay their total yearly tuition prior to June 1 of the current year. A student must attend school for fourteen calendar days to activate the TRP; after fourteen calendar days, TRP will pay a predetermined percentage of the unused yearly tuition. (See brochure for benefit formulas.) Late entrants must have yearly premium upon signing a contract.
Possible reasons for withdrawal may include the following:
Personal, Injury or sickness, Change of objective, Death of parent or student, Disciplinary dismissal, Scholastic failure, Financial problems, Emotional difficulties, Transfer of family
The Plan Benefits include the following:
Medical: Effective August 1 - the last day of the academic year. This applies for withdrawal or medical absences for 31 or more consecutive days.
Non-Medical: Applies to the academic year after meeting the attendance requirement of 14 days.
Dismissal: Outlined in contracts.
Late Entrants: Premium must be paid upon the signing of a contract. Medical coverage begins on the date of receipt of payment, and non-medical coverage begins after day 14 of the attendance requirement.
