First Priority

First Priority is a student-led Christian club that meets on campus every Thursday during lunch. First Priority creates the opportunity for Christian students from all denominations to unite on campus once a week during school.  

First Priority conducts meetings based on the themes of accountability, challenge, testimony and seeking.  The themes are rotated weekly.  First Priority is open to students in 6th-12th Grades.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

FCA is a student-led club. The club meets once a week and meetings include prayer, a witness, an activity and snacks.  Club members are responsible for arranging for speakers for the monthly chapel services.  The organization also sponsors the annual “See You at the Pole” event.  The TSA Key Club is open to students in 9th-12th Grades.

Anchor Club

The Anchor Club at Thomas Sumter Academy is a female service organization focused on the school and the community.  This club generates fellowship and interest through service projects and fundraisers throughout the school year.  Girls learn to plan, organize, execute, and accept responsibility.  Any girl in 11th and 12th Grades may join.  The Anchor Club is sponsored by the Sumter Chapter of Pilot International.

Art Club

The Art Club is for students interested in the Visual Arts.  Art Club members do not need prior artistic experience or training, only a genuine desire and interest in the Visual Arts field. Art Club members develop college art portfolios, participate in Art for the Community service projects, and enter competitions.  The Art Club is open to students in 9th-12th Grades.

Audio/Visual Club

The Audio/Visual Club at Thomas Sumter Academy is an organization comprised of students in grades 9th-12th whose primary responsibility involves managing all aspects of sound and lighting at TSA functions and events.  Students from the AV Club are scheduled to handle set up of equipment, run sound from the sound booth, worth the stage and spotlights, and the return of all equipment at the end of each event.  Students in 9th-12th Grades participate in the AV Club.
