Locks of Love

On Wednesday, Feb 15, 2012, Thomas Sumter Academy will kick off its annual Leukemia Campaign with a morning chapel, a Christian band from CTI Music Ministries, and Locks of Love haircuts. Our 2012 Honor Patient is Kyle Weatherford, the son of one of our own, Mrs. Beverly Weatherford, a TSA science teacher. Kyle lost his battle with Leukemia when he was 8 years old and we are honored to dedicate our campaign to his memory. We hope to raise $20,000 this year to bring our cumulative total contribution to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to $400,000. The campaign is sponsored by Student Council and will include donation competitions per student and class, a talent show, a dodgeball tournament, a powder-puff and aerial football tournament and will close with a bonfire on Feb 25, 2012. Please support our students in their quest to make this campaign a great success!
